How to freeze raw and fresh seafood?
When it comes to freezing seafood, there are different methods, depending on what type of seafood you want to freeze. Here you can see how to freeze some seafood types.
Frozen shrimp, fish or shellfish will be safe indefinitely but for best quality, freeze your cooked seafood for up to 3 months, for raw fish up to 6 months (3 months for fatty fish like salmon and trout) and for shellfish up to 12 months.
There are different options to freeze your seafood, each type has its own recommended method. You will need food safe and freeze resistant bags/containers.
